We are heading into June, almost halfway through another year. Kids are getting out of school, cottage country is filled with tourists and the pace slows down a tad. The smell of outdoor fires and barbeques in the air and the sound of children playing outside what a life we live.
There is really nothing to complain about – yes I know we all face trials and tribulations, ups and downs, disappointments and setbacks but in the big scheme if you live in the moment and you make the most of each day life can be pretty darn good.
So what’s my point? It’s to remind you not to waste time living in the past or holding on to regrets when you should be enjoying every glorious day doing something that inspires you and motivates you to put your best foot forward.
As for me – I will continue my house search and enjoy long strolls in the park with my dogs.

I have just turned thirty and I feel like I am no closer to knowing my career path than I did at twenty. I am in a job that offers some perks (great co-workers, lots of interaction with the public) but many downsides. I don’t feel satisfied and I have no desire to try and advance at my workplace.
I have worked in restaurants, retail, public relations and administration. I have great reviews and promotions but I always grow antsy and leave after 2-5 years. I always feel like I should be writing more. Other than that I am stumped. Do you know what type of career will offer me satisfaction? What will I be good at? Can you see a good time for me to make a job transition? I am willing to go back to school or start at the bottom. I just don’t want to spend my life job-hopping.
