I have been a widow for 3 1/2 yrs, my one son has been asking for handouts. First then he was suppose to be ill, then he couldn’t find a job and I found out it was because he had a record from 20 yrs ago, so I paid for his pardon. I go to Florida every winter and this past year he didn’t have a place to live so he ended up moving into my house, which I hate. He lies, he doesn’t really care that I feel sick about him living in my house. If my older son new he would be disappointed in me. What’s going to happen to my son? He was born Sept. 28, 1957 6am. First of all your son should be taking care of you not the other way around. The comparison you have with him indicates that he is deceptive with you and that he plays on your emotions knowing that he can get what he wants. Part of this is because you have always favored him and bailed him out when he should have been left to figure things out for himself.
Being a mother isn’t easy, you want to nurture and give your children all you can but there is a line that mustn’t be crossed and that is one of respect. It is obvious your son does not respect you because you have let him have his way.
If you don’t have the strength courage or good sense to tell him to move out and on with his life and that you are no longer going to bail him out then I suggest you ask you’re other son to do it for you.
