Social networking has changed our world. Instant text messaging has made email slow and snail mail excruciatingly painful to wait for. Complete sentences are a thing of the past even our language has taken on a short form that I’ve yet to master.

I remember when landlines were the only means of phone communication and some people even shared that line with a neighbor (called a party line). If you were spotted walking down the street jabbering to yourself – well lets just say you’d be questioned regarding your mental state.

Where is it going to end, our pace is high speed making prioritizing an essential part of daily life. It’s fast forward or you’ll fall behind.

I must admit I do enjoy the gadgets and the ease at which you can do so many things but I also miss the good old days when it wasn’t so easy to be tracked down gobbled up and spit out. We truly live in a here today gone tomorrow world.

Dear Eugenia
I’m a single mom born June 25, 1973 at 2 PM. My sons was born April 26,1992 at 6 AM. My son has been battling attention deficit disorder since the age of five when he was diagnosed. I’m tired of worrying about him. Will his disorder get better? Will he be successful? He is a good person. As for me will I remarry, will I succeed with my weight loss battle and will I remain in the same job? Can relocating to another country be fruitful for me since I’ll be closer to my family?
Worried Mom
Dear Worried Mom
Your son’s chart indicates that he does in fact need help. His chart is not only showing ADD but to complicate matters a problem with medication and prescription drugs. This can lead to all sorts of sorrow and problems in school, with authority figures and so on and so forth. You can make a move but it won’t eliminate the problem. He does not choose his friends wisely so even if you move him to a new city he will attract the wrong crowd. He needs professional help not smothering. As for you, the worrying will never stop because first and foremost you are a mother who is over protective and nurturing almost to a fault.
You will be in a good position astrologically to relocate in May, June or July of next year. Start applying for jobs in that location beginning in November of this year and you should find a suitable position by the time you relocate.
The last three months of the year will be favorable for love and romance but you aren’t the best when it comes to picking the right partner so please have an astrological comparison cast before you give your heart away.

Dear Eugenia
Up until about 6 years ago, I weighed 128 lbs. Then I was steady at 172 until this year when I jumped up to 178. I decided that enough was enough and started a course in colon hydrotherapy, because I felt so trapped by my own body. It seems to be helping slowly and steadily.  Do you see any for reason this problem. I was born October 11, 1961 at 2:32 AM.
Libra
Dear Libra
You have been experiencing a transit this year that does cause water retention and weight gain. By the end of the year it will be gone however you should still be trying to maintain your weight while it is still in effect. You will have more discipline during the first six months of next year however after that you will find yourself slipping until the end of 2011. I believe your health will deteriorate if you don’t stick to a regimented exercise diet routine. I use a program called fitday.com to keep on top of weight gain. Log your calorie intake each night for the next day and stick to it.

Dear Eugenia
My problem is that I am not sure if my new career path is right for me. In March 2009 I was laid off after16 years as a librarian. Last fall I took a Master Gardener course, after working in gardening with a friend. I am 54 (born November 18, 1955 at 10:03 PM), overweight, and have been working very hard in my own “garden service” business. I love nature, and my clients are nice folks. Concurrently, my family and I have sold our large home and are moving into a townhouse in August. Life has been demanding and I doubt myself often. The boredom and effort of weeding makes me want to quit, but I am hanging in there. Your advice would be most appreciated…
Scorpio
Dear Scorpio
Although the job of a librarian does suit you gardening, working with mother earth and running your own business can be just if not more rewarding. It’s always difficult getting a new business off the ground, especially when the work tends to be seasonal. Your chart indicates that 2010 has been a good year to start your own business and also to make a residential move so your timing is spot on.
It also showed up in your chart that you aren’t supposed to be a skinny mini and that you have to learn to feel comfortable and love who you are the way you are unless it becomes a health issue. The past eighteen months you were prone to putting weight on and although that transit has passed you still don’t have the discipline to get back on track. You should be able to stick to a regimented routine regarding diet exercise etc beginning mid November and remaining with you for the better part of the next two years. Get your move out of the way and your family and business settled so that you can focus on getting back to a reasonable weight.
