I’ve been dealing with a lot of tough consultations. I mean people going through what seems to be insurmountable difficulties. Some financial some regarding their children others so lonely lost and desperate.

When you read my readers email it’s often much lighter and fluffier a read but that’s only because I am allowed a limited amount of space for the column and must choose emails that aren’t terribly complicated and only have a couple of birth dates to deal with. I guess what I’m trying to tell you is when you are feeling down you have to realize that someone on this planet is going through as much heartache and sorrow as you if not more.

When someone comes to me for a consultation I admit due to volume and time restraints it takes four to six weeks to get an answer but it won’t be summed up in a couple of paragraphs like the answers below if there is more to your story than perhaps a jilted lover who need a summary of why it’s time to move on.

I absolutely love writing this column – yes by far my favorite – because it gives me a chance to show you how astrology can work to better your life and to help you plan for the future.

I feel blessed to be able to use my astrological knowledge and interpretive gift to help people get through the trials and tribulations faced. None of us are without problems, no ones life is perfect and every time you feel envious or think someone’s life is much better you have to know that we all go through poor transits Saturn returns and Mars squares etc that cause bumps in our journey through life.

Q. Do you do these readings personally? Or are they done by one of your students?

I would like to know everything about myself — past, present and future. Will your readings get to all three areas?

I’m not sure about my exact time of birth. My dad thinks I was born shortly after 6 p.m.

If I had a four-month period that was hot and I was halfway through it, could I capitalize on the lost time?

Is it possible to talk to you in person? I was born April 29, 1951.

TAURUS

A. I do every consultation myself. I would never entrust anyone to do my job for me. That is why it takes four to six weeks to receive your consultation.

When I do a consultation, it is my client who sets the questions. I don’t just randomly interpret his or her chart. My consultations deal with specifics. In other words, you ask and I interpret.

Astrology is all about timing. When you go through a hot cycle, you can capitalize on it at any point. However, getting the full benefit, beginning to end, usually brings the best results. The good news is that cycles repeat, so if you miss out on one cycle, you can rest assured another good one will come along.

I no longer offer phone consultations because they are time-consuming. Most people want me to reiterate the same advice in a dozen different ways and it becomes a repetitious conversation. In an email, I can be concise and keep my fees reasonable. Most of my clients live outside my geographical area, so e-mail consultations have become the most effective means to transmit my work.

Q. I recently called it quits with my daughter’s father (born Aug. 21, 1970). I was tired of his lies and unfaithfulness. I felt he never really bonded with my sons and that bothered me.

I recently have begun a relationship with a wonderful guy (born June 9, 1973), but I am not sure if he is the one for me. My sons really connect with this man. Have I made the right decision? I was born July 16, 1978 at 1:30 a.m.

TROUBLED CANCER

A. You do match up better to your Gemini man but there is still some sorrow that appears with regard to having more children.

Your comparison with your Leo man indicates sorrow, as well, however, it’s the deception that has come between you.

This is a wonderful year for you where relationships are concerned and I feel it’s important to focus on getting it right this time. If you are feeling any limitations with your Gemini man, it’s best to move on to take advantage of the opportunity to meet someone new.

If you feel satisfied with your Gemini, take it to the next level and let the favorable transits for love help you build a solid and long-lasting union with this man. My suggestion, however, is to find out his thoughts regarding having more children before you go any further. His past relationships have failed because he can be emotionally overbearing.

Q. I was born June 12, 1983 at 10:34 p.m. I had been dating a Sagittarius (born Dec. 12, 1986) since January of last year. I developed strong feelings for him.

We broke up in August. I ran into one of his co-workers who told me that things didn’t work out because he couldn’t trust me. I would like to give us another chance. The co-worker told me that if I still loved him, I should tell him. Can you help me, please?

A. This Sagittarius is not for you. The comparison is dismal and I fear your only reason for wanting him is that he doesn’t want you. Neither one of you have great staying power when it comes to relationships. You both need to experience your Saturn return (hits around the age of 29) before you engage in a committed relationship that will legally bind you.

You will be in a high cycle regarding love this summer and throughout 2011.
