I’ve spent the better part of the past week in one of my favorite cities in the world – Yes I’ve been back in Chicago.
As I travel home I’m reflecting on the days gone by. The tremendous coverage of the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy was moving and being of the generation I am the Kennedy brother’s marked important moments in my life and certainly brought to mind memories that stretch back to my mid teens when JFK was assassinated.
One of the highlights of my trip was meeting some amazing women affiliated with the Chicago Sun Times. I love girl’s night out and that’s what Mandy (the woman at the ST who bravely took on my Dear Eugenia column) arranged while I was in town. Being with four very dynamic women a Taurus, Gemini Scorpio and Capricorn, sharing thoughts and discussing the newspaper industry astrology and a variety of other topics I that I had made new friends that I will share so much more with in the future. One of which is a woman who writes a blog under the pseudonym eyes for lies – you should definitely check it out at http://www.eyesforlies.blogspot.com/ – it’s fascinating.
You have to know that I couldn’t visit Chicago with making a trip to Mother Hubbard’s for my favorite wings and must say they were even better this time leaving me with a hankering to turn around and hightail it back for more.
So once again hat’s off to this fabulous city that offers beautiful architecture sites and scenery and of course to my new and old friends who are very dear to my heart and contributed to my visit.

I have been reading my horoscope every day since I was a teenager, many moons ago. I was so happy to read about you in the Sun-Times. I was born March 24, 1950 at 3:10 p.m.
I have an almost three-year problem with both of my legs feeling pressure like that of a blood pressure cuff. The condition is constant and I have undergone every test possible — both Eastern and Western medicine. No one knows what is wrong with me.
